My name is found within the Book;
To find it, you will have to look.
Thirty times my name does show;
And it is one that you should know.

I did come to fill God's plan,
Yet, it was because of man.
I caused much pain, and sweat, and tears.
It was great faith that brought me here.

I was made from that which lives;
But, I had no life to give.
I was filled with countless life,
Even though I caused much strife.

Those who trusted in my name,
Suffered ridicule and shame.
Yet, because they trusted me,
Judgement's wrath they did not see.

I brought laughter to a few,
But those who laughed are those He slew.
The wrath of God concerned me not;
But in its act I played a part.

When this wrath came to its end,
I did come to rest again.
All the life from me went forth;
As my path did end its course.

There's one more clue that can be voiced;
When I did rest, all men rejoiced.
