Just as there seemed to be no hope,

Unleashed did come the flood;

Suddenly I was washed within,
by Jesus' cleansing blood.

_____________________________________

Terrific was the joy I found,

In Jesus Christ that day;

For now I see that all I do,
fits in His plan some way.

_____________________________________

I'm not a sinner as before.

Even when temptation strikes.

Delivered now, I find myself,
by the Holy Spirit's fight.
