People always ask me, "why do you collect rhinos?" Well folks, this is how it all began. I bought that first (#1) rhino in 1989. I had no intention of collecting rhinos - I just liked it. The rhino's "armor" reminded me of the armor of God, plus ... we had just seen "Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade" the day before. (there is a rhino in that movie - briefly) I like pewter items, and it reminded me of the movie and of the armor of God, so I bought it. Then I found #2 while in Memphis,TN visiting friends. Then my wife got me the next four for Christmas... and it exploded from there. My family started getting them for me, my wife's family started getting them for me, and anyone else who found out about my collection. The collection grew, and grew. None of us would have ever quessed there were that many different rhinos out there to be found! My family and friends became great "rhino hunters". Well, one day as I was admiring my collection, (when I had over 100) I prayed, "Lord, there has got to be something I can do with these crazy things to glorify You."
